COVID-19 Information

Information as of 6/1/2022
The Indiana University National HIV Conference (IUNHC), hosted by the Office of the Vice President for Diversity, Equity, and inclusion, is monitoring Indiana University, the state of Indiana, the city of Indianapolis, and the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC) guidelines in preparation for the conference. In addition, the JW Marriott Indianapolis, our host hotel, is following CDC guidelines to ensure a safe and healthy event.
In terms of wellness protocols while onsite in Indianapolis, here is what you can expect:

  • Masks will be optional throughout the conference.
  • Masks and sanitizer will be made available to all attendees.
  • Physical distancing options will be available during IUNHC. We’ll rely on you to engage and communicate your boundaries. Returning to large gatherings after mostly virtual meetings will feel strange, so we encourage you to move at your comfort level.

Conference planners will share additional information as it becomes available! Please email any questions regarding the COVID19 protocol to iunhc@iu.edu.

IUNHC Scholars

To ensure all communities, especially those disproportionately affected by HIV/AIDS, have access to the conference, with financial support from our sponsors, 25 IUNHC Scholars will receive grants to attend.
